Gregory's Server@Curator Also, I don't know if this is just a me thing, but I find it helpful to write my alt texts into a text file and then copy-paste them into the box. It means that I don't have to rewrite them if I repost art.

Another way of keeping commonly used text for alt text is Clippings, available as an add-on in #Firefox browser which I use for Mastodon/Fediverse interactions.
It is great for my regular #Puzzle posts which are mostly the same, post to post, and, for me, less work than finding/using text files.
