@CountJurassicJordan @nixCraft I thought that for a long time. I have recent switched to zsh on my latest arch build and... I don't hate it. So far I've had some good qol improvements from some of the plugins, and very little has tripped me up.

The biggest issue I had was with [] characters, which I fixed with alias rake="noglob rake" (ymmv)

you know now that you say that I'm tempted to check zsh out lol @s @nixCraft

@nixCraft fish is so good with autocomplete, and with tide (github.com/IlanCosman/tide) it is absolutely beautiful and convenient

@nixCraft was going to say fish but it really breaks typical workflows (where's "sudo !!" ?) so it's better to stick with zsh imo

@WerySkok @nixCraft there's shortcuts like alt+s I think, not sure.

@nixCraft i like bash. not a huge fan of zsh. tried fish but i didn't like how it felt. by default bash or sh is on a server or a new system usually. a lot of my tweaks are also for bash. (๑•﹏•)

@nixCraft zsh and fish both seem to have more and better features than Bash, based on my limited experience with them; but Bash is my warm and cozy blanket and I'll stay snuggled under it thankyouverymuch
