That said, there seem to be a lot of cool people there, some of whom don't really post here (like @icculus) which makes me wish their platform had ActivityPub follows.

@gamingonlinux more or less, yeah. It’s not a bad place honestly. Or at least all my interactions have been positive so far. That being said, Tumbkr has actually become my go to social site since Musk took over Twitter.

@gamingonlinux Had tried it before Mastodon. I expect you'll fair much better, but I found it incredibly difficult to get traction, followers, or engagement.
