@katnjiapus for me its not "beyond belief". It sadly involves all too common mistakes made by volunteer orgs and small companies.

It's very difficult to defend against a determined threat like the FBI.

But I share your concern at the size of the instance.

I guess I'm just calling for empathy. Some of the outrage I've seen from others doesn't help the situation. The damage has been done already.

But maybe if they had listened to the many people who told them to close registrations and actively moderate their instance, some potential harm could have been mitigated, because they wouldn't be like the *only* anarchist instance many people know about.
