@gamingonlinux You following @ByttenStudio the makers of the amazing game @CassetteBeasts which not only works on the Steam Deck & Linux natively, but was made in the FOSS game engine @godotengine (though I think you covered it)?

@gamingonlinux just in case: You know #Veloren veloren.net/ it's having a new release now. A nice open source game written with #rust #rustlang combining inspirations from minecraft and legends of zelda.

@gamingonlinux heyo! Me and my team, @capscollective, specifically work on open-source, cross-platform titles such as Fantasy Town Regional Manager, and our custom Vulkan-based game engine. We’ve not been super active after moving here since that responsibility’s fallen on me, but I’ll be posing up progress and notes on our latest endeavours at some point.

@gamingonlinux Huh, I mean I've been working on a voxel engine and I do have dreams of turning it into a full on game at some point but I wouldn't say I've been "making games" since I don't have any finished ones.

I want it to be Minecraft but you build vehicles from blocks (hence the rotating mass I took some bites out of in this video) and I would really like to try and make combat more interesting. I love automation mods for Minecraft so there will probably be some of that too.

@gamingonlinux I'm in active development of a game made out of Blender & Blender's UPBGE and exporting for native Linux. I'm currently building out all the assets.

@gamingonlinux I have made and released a few retro games on Linux. They're niche but some are quite well liked within their little genres. I don't release games that often.

@gamingonlinux I'm a long-time hobbyist game developer making games for Linux on Linux. Currently working on a twin stick shooter called Phobos Down.
