the whole group at the public spanish classes are russians. the teacher doesn't know english well, but the stuff is very basic and she articulates well, so it's been fine so far, plus we study on our owns. if someone doesn't understand something, we just ask each other in russian.

but yesterday an actual english speaking person joined the group. after us being 3 months in. not knowing even a word in spanish and obviously not knowing russian. and i am the only person in the group who knows english, but i don't know spanish, so i also need to put effort into understanding to translate what's going on to the new student.

anyway the rest of the course is not going to be boring that's for sure :Elaina:
