 Confused? If you followed my old account before then you're still following me now. Being #transgender means I'm changing my account name to reflect my new identity. I plan to keep greeting new arrivals, boosting loads of toots and making occasional pithy comments. Nothing changes here on Mastodon other than my name and pronouns (she/her, BTW). 2/4 39 comments
Some of you might have questions about me "suddenly" being #transgender. I get that. And you can go ahead and ask. My apologies if you're a former co-worker, old friend or distant relative finding out that I'm #transgender from this toot and you think I should have told you sooner.
But I know a LOT of people and it's simply not practical for me to have that many intimate conversations first.
