An autopsy indicates Terán "was most probably in a seated position, cross-legged" with hands raised before they died from 57 gunshot wounds. Georgia authorities continue to contradict most available evidence to insist that Terán shot a trooper first. Despite the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's refusal to name Terán's killers, a Gunshot Residue report eventually surfaced to identify the 6 troopers involved. On April 28, Charley Tennenbaum & two others were arrested & charged w “Intimidate Law Enforcement officer/family in retaliation to discharge of duties by force” after Salcedo said he “felt harassed and intimidated" by fliers tying him to Terán's death. |

Manuel 'Tortuguita' Terán was killed by Georgia State Patrol during a Jan. 18 SWAT raid to clear tree-sitters from the proposed 'Cop City' urban warfare training center site.
They were sleeping at a campsite near, but not on, the 'Cop City' parcel.
