I really think the average wind speed over recent years has gone up where I live. Eg im sitting in the back yard have lunch, as I have in summer for many years, and I cannot remember it ever really be windy. These days it’s almost always so.

Is there a place where I can research wind speed data collected over many years? I haven’t been able to find one,

@J12t maybe grab the NWS data for a couple of area weather stations? I'm on mobile, so haven't dug too deeply, but yeah: yesterday sucked, today feels uncomfortably windy too.

@J12t it’s also much windier here. I think in the last 10 years. Definitely in the last 20.
