Gregory's Server@tchambers about the "cross-platforms federation", am I supposed to be able to see Lemmy/kbin posts in my mastodon app if I follow them ? Can't understand if it's not possible or if the instances are just swamped

@quentinmre @tchambers This is the part that is the most confusing to me. I can sign up everywhere, but still need to go somewhere else to see the …threads, I guess. I can’t figure it out.

@SudoNaaame @tchambers @quentinmre It's actually the same for normal activitypub users trying to follow mastodon "threads"....... it jus does not really work... ;) But still, we all can interact with eachother in some way. ;) |

@tchambers I think some of the federation is not perfected yet. I follow my kbin account on Mastodon but do nto see all my boosts. However, I can interact really well from my Mastodon account to the startrek.website instances. I can post to the community from Mastodon by @ing it, I can follow and like posts and comments.
