Gregory's Server#CatsofMastodon Scottish wildcats have been released into the Cairngorms National Park.
Known as Highland tigers, they are Scotland’s last remaining native cat species.

@CStamp I love seeing it. Here in Texas we have a wolf that was extinct for all purposes that's coming back. They were so vicious and fierce, hissing and swatting at her with pure malice, that she stayed in the doorway and tried to reach as far as she could with the broom to sweep from there. The proper keeper had to relieve her after several minutes of this. Wildcats are adorable but truly full of piss and vinegar. @BigJesusTrashcan lol i hope they buried it in the place they use as a "litter box" @BigJesusTrashcan someday you might have a little jesus trashcan that can release the bats for you when you're too old   @jeber I think these are cats that slap you. We have a Manx with a lot of these traits, and discovered that feral cats interbred with the wildcats, and the genes found their way into "tigar bloodlines. @BigJesusTrashcan I remember someone from a conservation place saying the quickest way to tell the difference between Scottish wildcats and tabbies is you shake a box of dry cat food.
