@gamingonlinux I think it's a trashing issue that happens when both Ram and Swap are full. I experienced a similar issue (maybe correlated to this one) on my laptop running Arch. If I recover from standby after simulations that takes a lot of RAM (lot of plots etc.) after a couple of seconds it starts stuttering and then it completely blocks
