If Reddit Goes Dark for only 48 hours absolutely nothing is going to change, and organizing another protest is going to be quite difficult, every subreddit that actually cares about fixing the API should stay offline until a better change is offered by #Reddit

@BrodieOnLinux I’m going to avoid Reddit unless I see change. Lemmy kbin and tildes are so-so alternatives, but this continual migration stuff kinda blows ngl.

Better option would be leaving Reddit for an alternative.

@BrodieOnLinux I discussed this with my friend a couple of days ago, this protest, to #Reddit is seen as "Hey we'll be closed for 3 days, see you after!"

The only way is to remain offline, a sort of reverse #EternalSeptember

@adham It's just Reddit mods taking a long weekend lol

@BrodieOnLinux And in the meantime we should build communities on other services like Lemmy. Even if Reddit decides to fix the API pricing issue - it’s only a matter of time before they fuck up again.

@BrodieOnLinux I have already deleted & found a nice alternative called rabble.me
