We are very excited to announce the beta release of Project Odyssey, a set of open source projects that have been in the making for the past 2 months. We partnered up with the Terrarium team to help create these great new projects.

Project Odyssey consists of four mods:

Argonauts: A team and guild management mod, integrated with the other three Odyssey mods, giving users the ability to create teams and guilds for collaboration with friends alongside helpful utilities like guild chats and permission handling.

Cadmus: A land claiming mod, giving users the ability to claim land to protect themselves and their property from bandits and environmental hazards, including powerful tools for server owners to control admin claims.

Prometheus: A server utility mod, giving server owners the ability to set player permissions and create custom commands and warps and alongside a suite of useful commands and utilities for players.

Heracles: A questing mod, giving pack makers the ability to package completable tree style quests with rewards in their modpacks. It includes a UI to modify and create new quests and comes with an API for developers to make their own custom task and reward types.

We're super excited to see what you all think of Project Odyssey! We hope these mods will help boost the ecosystem of mods for modpack authors on Modrinth. All of these projects are available to download right now, so check 'em out!

@modrinth they look like re-makes of FTB mods (chunks, quests, etc.). Was there a specific motivation for that? Is this just a different surface-level artistic approach or is there a deeper motivation (e.g. license)?
