@J12t A little late replying, but some of the reasoning involved the size of the device. It's no google glass, it would be extremely difficult to use in public where the augmented reality features may be the most potent. Furthermore the concept of it being a fashion statement is a little premature.

And then we get into all the shortcomings of Google Glass itself.
