like it’s something about that smooth soft minty green-blue colouration. it looks like fondant. I feel like if you bit into it he should be bright pink frosting on the inside

you remember when everything was cake, and we were all like whoah, can’t believe it’s cake!! with bulbasaur it’s the opposite of that. I can’t believe he’s not cake

actually you know what it is, is when I was very young there was a bakery that did these fondant fancy cakes (like the mr Kipling ones) where fondant blob was a minty green frog face with a big open pink mouth. we used to eat these going home and this possibly explains wanting to eat bulbasaur
