@cstross She thinks she's going to be living the sweet life, eating caviar and drinking champagne with her friend Maria Butina. In fact, she'll be standing in line for day-old groceries if she doesn't "fall" out of the first available window. I think this is going to be one of the few times when stupid turns out to be painful.

@mawhrin @cstross In the olden days the Soviet Union and then the Russian Federation at least had a little money. Not anymore.

She'll be safe until after the election. Putz wants to be able to pull her out and show her off. Once the election is over, if she's lucky she'll find herself in line for week-old groceries. Falling out a window will happen if she then complains about it.
