With Windows adding a bunch of AI features, Iโ€™m glad to be running Linux.

@gamingonlinux I use it for development and ignore the rest.

@gamingonlinux The nagging for updating to 11 and the telemetry stuff did it for me. After long years I have returned to the Linux world, currently Nobara 37 and quite happy with it :) A few games need a few tweaks that I have to research. Linux basics are still fine, but a lot of things new to learn :)

@gamingonlinux Now that Microsoft added AI to Bing, it is being added everywhere, just because of all the AI hype.

@gamingonlinux
Are they adding features in Windows, or are they just hooking up windows to web services?

@gamingonlinux You can add AI features to Linux too! But at least it's a choice ๐Ÿ˜…

@gamingonlinux Iโ€™m right there with you. Only one of my systems still runs Windows and itโ€™s just for video capture until I can replace my capture device with a Linux compatible one that isnโ€™t sh*t

@gamingonlinux I'm personally accelerating my full move to Linux.

Migrating my Home Server is ongoing, then my desktop. Laptop was moved over months ago.

The only thing preventing me from completely ditching Windows is the fact I want to be able to build a remote play machine (which is fairly easy to do in Windows), while retaining the ability to play VR games on-site. I'd move over that machine in a heartbeat if that was possible!

As it is, I believe I'll keep it on W10 LTSC for the forseeable future.

If you or anyone else knows of a guide to achieve what I want, I'd love to hear from it.

@gamingonlinux I'm currently trialing moving my gaming PC to linux as my primary OS, with Windows for those handful of games that don't work.

Working well so far!

@gamingonlinux I'm sure some creative virus writers will have a lot of fun with that feature.
