@J12t I think your hypothesis that Facebook will take an "asymmetric" approach to the fediverse/#activitypub is a good one given their track record.

@J12t Given Meta’s history, shouldn’t the assumption be they intend an asymmetric plan rather than a symmetric one? Seems like the right default assumption to make here.

@jpanzer I’m sensitive to asymmetric implementations, because that’s the thing that killed #openid as a user centric protocol imho :-)
