@fsf it's always a trap - they bring you in with the manufactured conveniences, slam the doors shut, and then begin milking you like a factory-farm cow; no one can hear you scream over the hum of the revenue extractor. @pluralistic was right about enshittification but it doesn't just apply to 'free' stuff - even when you pay you're still the product.
