@gamingonlinux Pretty sure those are Stadia controllers mate

@gamingonlinux Bummer about the pastel colors for those who don’t like them. But thanks for bringing my attention to the regular Ultimate, which I’ll be looking into. My Xbox One controller is on its way out and I just can’t justify an Elite (nor do I want to buy one used).

@gamingonlinux it’s a shame the docks gone but the price is compelling the extra bag space for the dongles and the colours are not I did want a ultimate controller but the lack of a Bluetooth Xbox layout turned me off that and the price.. I’m wondering if the trackpad and supposedly longer handles of the dual sense are worth the trade

@gamingonlinux I just wish someone, anyone, would make a decent playstation-style controller that's corded, I love my ps4 controllers, which is why i got the ps5 controllers, but they all have the same issue, after around 2-3 years of use the usb ports start to not hold tight and you get frequent disconnects while playing. They work over bluetooth but there's noticeable input lag.

my only reliable controllers over the years are my wavebird/ps2/genesis controllers with usb adapters....

@gamingonlinux I really wish they had a wireless version of this for Xbox.

@gamingonlinux
I'd always go with Gulikit and their controllers. They use hall effect sensors for their triggers AND analogue sticks. Should be indestructible (in theory). They also support Windows, Linux and Switch. Nice!

@gamingonlinux oh how I wish 8bitdo allowed the back triggers to be addressed as their own buttons and not just clones of other functions. Last thing I want from my Pro 2's.

@gamingonlinux Is the dongle required? Can this be paired over Bluetooth?
