Gregory's Server@kenshirriff Nice pic; any idea what's going on the left of the 10th row up where a few cells seem to be below the line of the others? I admit to not understanding why - even for a gate array - they have all the gaps between the cell rows; I think it might be because they didn't have many metal layers so all the custom horizontal wires are in the gap?

@penguin42 That's just a stitching artifact. The image is made from dozens of closeups and the stitching software doesn't work as well with repetitive patterns.
