I want to organize an accessible list of links to my alternate profiles for a random audience, like on #Linktree. I already have a page for such links, but I'm not sure it's accessible enough: toby3d.me/en/proofs/

Should I rearrange them as a list of icons? Should I put them on the home page under the header? Or as a second menu? Or in the footer? All in all, any advice would be welcome.

@toby3d After looking at that page for 60 seconds, I have two thoughts:

-

I'd name it "elsewhere", because the current title ("proofs") doesn't evoke an idea of links to other places where you hang out

-

the crossed-out links (500px, Facebook etc.) stand out, while the active ones blend into the background. I'd try and flip the styles, so the active links catch attention while the inactive ones blend into the background a bit

I don't think icons would be a good idea here, because I'm not sure I can recognize icons of that many services. If you do add icons, make sure that the names of the services are still there.

@minoru The original purpose of this page is that it links to profiles that have a link back to the site. This two-way links is the "proofs", similar to the Mastodon, which requires a rel="me" link back for the checkmark.

On the music pages, I plan to list other links to artist profiles on streaming services. The album and track pages already list icons, but I'm not sure that's good or convenient enough.

There are indeed problems with the styles, which I am now fixing on a global level.
