if anything it should be shameful how much proprietary software fucks up when free software gets it right. i've had so many linux installs survive hard drive Situations that caused windows to piss itself and die instantly remembering the time i bought a microsoft surface pro from microsoft and every time i tried to upgrade microsoft windows on this microsoft surface it would soft brick the device anyways that was the closest i came to using windows in almost 20 years and it pretty much deterred me from ever touching it again |
@hierarchon as someone who's only really used linux on laptops, it's actually kind of amazing that reality hasn't collapsed from how many possible variations in hardware can exist.
