Depends on the animals. Mammals seem to certainly. Alligators, and other reptiles: definitely not .. they'll eat your face off without thinking twice. Their brains really only react; and can't be trained beyond the most simple tasks.

But yes, catos, dogos, horsies, dophins ... they certainly do have personalities (and the orange catos are always the assholes too)
