 @gamingonlinux I love how it seems almost a given in the US that a privately owned entity is more trustworthy than something that's government funded. Sure, John, private entities have no reason at all to lie to you, while your government has all of them... How about you distrust all of them equally, or start demanding more transparency in your government so you can trust them more. In a proper democracy, the government has to explain itself to its board; the voters. @gamingonlinux It's his playground :) Does it matter to you? The label served more as a way to disenfranchise non-western media outlets (particularly, China’s and Russia’s outlets). Considering this, seeing Western outlets get a taste of their own medicine (aka being labeled as propaganda) is funny and Elon’s unseriousness with it even funnier lmao.  @gamingonlinux I have a theory that Musk has been instructed (and paid?) to take down Twitter but he’s doing it by degrees so there’s not too much backlash - a kind of boiling the frog. When his job is done Twitter will be finally dead and not a threat to the fascists anymore. |
