@Downes my first attempt to simply write SVG in a Hugo/markdown file. Wasn’t too painful.  @J12t @aswath this past two weeks, @gabek posted an event on Mobilizon. I wanted to RSVP. Doing so was really complicated: create account on that Mobilizon instance, then RSVP there, and Gabe had no idea that it was me who RSVPd because it was a new account. And none of my friends on mastodon saw it either. Yes, i can manually create rel=me relationships (well, I hope i can … just investigating this takes more time), follow myself, and repost. Why not simpler? @aswath analogous but not the same. An app needs to understand noun “event” and verb “RSVP” before it can provide a button to enable the user to “RSVP”. This cannot be done in mastodon which understands neither. (Not picking on mastodon, it isn’t trying to do that). It has to be done in an app that does understand those, but I don’t necessarily have an account there, and in either case without sso it would be a different account. @gabek |
@J12t I like the post. Did you use a tool to create the diagrams, or are they handmade?
