Most of the twitterati exposed themselves and the low-moral like-lizards they are.  @flexghost I will donate to NPR (again) the moment they set up NPR@NPR.ORG on Mastodon. @mmlvx @flexghost Yeah they are. Duh. Also I guess I should clarify I just donated to them the other day which I why I said again. LOL @Tweetfiction @flexghost @mmlvx NPR has a fedi acct from yrs back, but they quit using it a couple yrs ago. @Tweetfiction I’ll double down! I just posted asking people to message them to come here in full capacity @flexghost @Tweetfiction I’ll send NPR an email when I get to my desk top in a few minutes 🙂 I just did. My message: Good for you guys for leavingTwitter! Let the place turn into another truth.social for all I care. BUT...Mastodon. We're waiting for you! I will absolutely donate towards NPR@NPR.ORG or whatever you choose to call your server. We need journalists! We also are hitting 11 million users this week after hitting 10 million a week ago. @flexghost It drives me crazy when I see someone announce their exit from Twitter and then ask, “So are we all going to Post or Spoutible?” without even a consideration for Mastodon and the Fediverse @curtisysmith right?? it’s almost like they went out of their way to find the other service that tried to destroy democracy  @curtisysmith @flexghost I joined Post in November around the same time as Mastodon. I have over 1600 followers on Post but get far more engagement here. It doesn’t help that the notifications don’t tell you if someone commented on your post, and who really wants to constantly scroll back to see? I’ve trusted them for years, bringing unbiased and honest, unvarnished news. I guess someone didn’t like that kind of free speech.  he is intentionally shunning proper media outlets so his right wing site can spout its rhetoric without contradiction. the neutrals will be indoctrinated and the GOP and rich will benefit. @flexghost I really hope more media follow suit. I’m not holding my breath though 😕 @flexghost Well, if it was public then it would be blamed as "government-funded" but if it was a for-profit then it would be all nice and dandy and fully objective? How about Fox heh? LOL, Some people are so desperate to remain relevant that they'll try anything to distort reality. Bye bye Musk!  @flexghost Unfortunately they don't mention any intention to move toward a #fediverse platform, just that they're leaving #twitter.
