I just did. My message: Good for you guys for leavingTwitter! Let the place turn into another truth.social for all I care. BUT...Mastodon. We're waiting for you! I will absolutely donate towards NPR@NPR.ORG or whatever you choose to call your server. We need journalists! We also are hitting 11 million users this week after hitting 10 million a week ago.

@curtisysmith @flexghost I joined Post in November around the same time as Mastodon. I have over 1600 followers on Post but get far more engagement here. It doesn’t help that the notifications don’t tell you if someone commented on your post, and who really wants to constantly scroll back to see?

@flexghost Unfortunately they don't mention any intention to move toward a #fediverse platform, just that they're leaving #twitter. It might be that they just post more on #facebook.
