@nutomic did a major rewrite of the federation code. It is much simpler now, and reduced from 8000 lines of code to 6400. Functionality is mostly the same, but future changes will be much easier. You can now block users and communities, and their posts / comments won't show up in your feed. Removed IFramely: Lemmy can now fetch site metadata on its own.
