Playing Jedi Fallen Order and we all agree the absolute worst parts are when you have to slide right?

Also the section where youโ€™re climbing three towers in the air. The last one can only be reached by *not* looking where youโ€™re jumping. I donโ€™t wanna talk about how long that took me. Had to google it, saw loads of others also confused and enraged by it ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@gamingonlinux Some programmers...

Furiously taking notes for the RPG I'm working on. Add... no-look... leap... um... over level 89 dragon!

@gamingonlinux I'm not really into Souls games and even the Star Wars magic couldn't make me get through it

@gamingonlinux
I played through a few months ago and don't remember a blind jump so maybe I didn't have a problem in that section? The area I remember struggling with figuring out what to do next was on Kashyyyk in an area right after falling into a small lake and needing to figure out where to climb.

@gamingonlinux I'm really enjoying the game rn, but yeah... the sliding controls feels kinda clunky

@gamingonlinux enjoying the game but damn, Unreal Engine 4 makes me mad, its Texture Streaming issues are the worst

@gamingonlinux I feel the slides would suck much less if there was inertia in the jumps (longer arc distance). Some physics I cannot understand there.

It would still be, by far, the worst part in the game imho.

@gamingonlinux ah I really loved it, I wouldn't describe it as good or bad, just felt like another mechanic.

I started a play through again on the steamdeck a while back, this reminds me I need to pick that up again!
