@gamingonlinux I can confirm, I've let this happen in the past, and I still have weird feelings when partaking in my favourite hobby. Enjoy what you enjoy, life's too short. @gamingonlinux TFW you become more financially successful than your parents and still play video games... @gamingonlinux Absolutely! The idea that one should stop gaming as an adult is ridiculous. Gaming is fun for all ages. @gamingonlinux I’ve had people act very surprised upon finding out I play video games, and perhaps there is some disapproval hidden in their surprise, but I don’t give a s*** what other people think. 😆  @gamingonlinux I used to play a game called EVE Online, and one of my corp mates was 97 years old. He had been gaming since arcade machines were invented, and saw no reason to stop just because of his age. @gamingonlinux that's what sometimes those radical looney contservatives try to do. Like  @gamingonlinux 100% I’ve dumped boyfriends for criticizing my love of anime. If they criticize me for that I know it’s just the tip of the iceberg and they need to go. |
@gamingonlinux So I'm sitting at a repair shop waiting for something to get done to my car. While I'm waiting I'm playing a Kerby game on my 3DS. A lady and her kid walk by and the kid (like maybe 12/13 somewhere in there) says "Aren't you a little old for that?"
Without skipping a beat I told the kid, "You don't stop playing because you get old, but you do get old when you stop playing".
His mother dragged him off. I'm not sure which of them was more upset by that statement.
