 @J12t Fediverse is more about public social services than email, so having a unique address for every entity one interacts with makes less sense if we had mostly private end to end, then they could be useful for specific topics or projects, e.g. LuftHans+SeaGL and LuftHans+SCaLE, but the Fediversian way would more likely include lists and hashtags |
@lufthans ah. One way of doing it. Also, the jabber way. Not sure what exactly the fediverse use cases are there, however, as they are probably different from the ones for email and IM. Jabber mostly used it for different devices, and some for work / non work.
