@rek I never got too deeply into the comic (i only have enough brains for like 2 webcomics at a time), but this is making me want to revisit it.
Also heck how did I not know this was 3 years in the making???? Should be at least as big a deal as Helluva Boss tbh, we need more independent animation.

We do indeed need more independent animation, i used to be more aware of what was going on (cause I studied 2d animation was immersed in that for a long time). How did you hear of the Lackadaisy pilot?

@rek My BFF who works in art recommended it to me, plus I saw it boosted by someone on my art list here on fedi.
I hope the Animation Obsessive newsletter has written about it, I need to catch up with their emails. They are my usual go to sources for animation news and recommendations. (And Rebeltaxi's videos, but his humor is an... acquired taste.)

@rek I totally forgot to recommend another animation resource that you'll probably like even more than I do: there are lots of animation news on Catsuka, but it's all in French, but that won't be a problem for you. They also have Catsuka Player which is a collection of video embeds, all freely available animation from various categories. I found a lot of really cool music videos there.
