Still some people telling me posting links to Instagram is “not a good look”, you absolutely will be muted. I have no time for gatekeeping bullshit. If you don’t like it scroll and don’t click it. Honestly getting so very tired of the attitudes on Mastodon. It feels like fighting FOSS fanatics and Linux Native (anti-Proton) fanatics all over again.

@gamingonlinux There... there are anti-Proton fanatics? I'm new to Linux, so that genuinely blows my mind, holy fuck. Some people think so ass backwards, it's wild. @gamingonlinux you don't game on Linux by typing raw assembly code in real time? Shame... 😂  @gamingonlinux Use your internet how you choose to use it. People acting like this should know better. Don't give them the satisfaction of being bothered by them publically. @gamingonlinux I’m a big fan of using the best tool for the job, by which I mean the tool that works best for you. Gatekeeping and purism are so tedious. I’m reminded of this image from way back in the dark ages when Macs didn’t even do premeptive multitasking and Linux was still the snotty nosed new kid. |
@gamingonlinux I don't understand such a behaviour. Even if you're Fediverse and FOSS purist, If you want other people to embrace our cause you NEED to be active on mainstream social media, even because they are basically the places where all the average users and newbies are
