@gamingonlinux @RedCyberLizzie Really? From my personal experience almost every time I've had to update gpu drivers with nvidia it borks my entire install :'( @gamingonlinux seperately yes, and mayhaps sometimes together, but last time I tried it, every Update required some amount of reconfiguration, deactivated nvidia on laptops ever since, and now I only buy laptops without nvidia |
@gamingonlinux yeah but the closed source nature of things stop the community from fixing things that they dont, that older hardware gets left behind for no other reason than "its old and we dont wanna support it", so you cant even try to support it in any modern system.
