@gamingonlinux As someone rightfully (in my opinion) posted in GoL comments: the game is made with Unity and many titles using it have better performances with Proton than a native build. I am also quite disappointed, yet I feel fortunate Proton is a thing now. But this is not a good signal for Linux gaming in general. |
@gamingonlinux fair call to be honest. Linux is a small market and if it can be covered by proton until the market is established it will help devs like this who can’t afford the development and debugging hit. Sure native would be better but the dev expense likely doesn’t justify the sales.
