really proud to announce Another World (Out of this World) is for the first time available for PowerPC Macs! 🥳

i spent a week rewriting and Cocoa-ifying gregory montoir's original interpreter code from 2004. it's a WIP in terms of UI, but the game should be completely playable beginning to end now!

so if you've got a PowerPC-based G3, G4, or G5 mac, please have a go :) i'd love to know what it will/won't run on.

@vga256 Yeah, that can be a trip. I used to enjoy coding in Obj-C but haven't gone there in quite some time. I'm going to try the game out on my TiBook 500MHz running Tiger and see how it goes

it took several hours to finally 'get it' with Obj-C. i still don't understand 3/4 of the syntax, but i can handle the basics now

@vga256 I tried doing my website up in pinstripes circa 2003 but I hadn't the skills for it. I was using DreamWeaver MX at the time and kept having to manually delete its generated nested <font> tags.
