 once upon a time there was an app named skype skype was too big to fail. everyone used it! one day, skype bloated itself with garbage to the point that everyone hated it, and left to go hang out with their friend discord once upon a time there was an app called discord... 6 comments
  @nano ... and eventually the internet was free of closed source silo chat apps and we wouldn't have to go through the same painful cycle ever again. One can hope, right?  @nano@yiff.life it does make me wonder if it could ever be possible for another (hopefully open source) app to overtake discord in popularity |
