Sanctions are typically discussed as a form of siege warfare and a regime change mechanism. However, sanctions never actually accomplish the state goal of regime change.
What sanctions do accomplish is convincing domestic public that alternative systems produce undesirable outcomes by immiserating the vulnerable people in the targeted nation.

I think the theft of gold by the UK and the recent Nord Stream attack are literal heists by organized criminal organizations - London and Wall St. Like, some shit you see in movies and American TV. Wall St., London, defense contractors, OSS/CIA, international crime syndicates, major projects like Tor, American/Swiss/British banks, the tentacles of the NED &co. are all in.
