I see a lot of discussion about Wayland on Linux but rarely do I see anything being said about getting it running smoothly on the BSD class of operating systems.

That's pretty worrying seeing as most still rely on X and probably won't be able to continue supporting it into the future by themselves.

Thoughts?

@BrodieOnLinux

Linux* breaks EVERYTHING**:

Linux* breaks gaming
Linux* breaks your preinstalled Candy Crush
Linux* breaks Microsoft Internet Explorer
Linux* breaks Windows Media Player

Thanks but i am not interested in Linux*, because it never quite worked for me.

It has been claimed that Linux* can run Windows** apps using wine***. So it should be able to run "normal" applications just fine?
