@gamingonlinux I really wish Valve would implement a policy for existing and future games that disallowed distribution on their store with third-party launchers. Real tired of this shit. @gamingonlinux that's crazy, only idiots will cry about ubisoft games not working. Ubisoft is the worst company. @gamingonlinux Anti-cheat is being taken care of, now comes the newest corporate fad: Launchers on top of launchers. It's just absurd at this point. Take 2/R*/2K have been doing this as well. @gamingonlinux @gamingonlinux sorry to many screens meant to just repost it. Not enough coffee yet today to effectively multitask. 🤦🏻♂️ Me: I think I'll properly sit down and get into some more Breakpoint today. Ubisoft: @gamingonlinux Six hours ago I had planned play some Division 2 on my day off.... Been looking for ways to get it to run since then. No luck so far.... @gamingonlinux Yeah, I've been really enjoying The Division 2 and have really been enjoying the fact that I can just drop into it and play for a bit. Real shame I wont be able to play more until this gets fixed. @gamingonlinux quite a solid Video Game int it. No clue what the plots about but free roam multiplayer is a goof @gamingonlinux Not surprised in the slightest. They can barely keep their stuff working on windows lol.

@gamingonlinux Makes me worried for the Trackmania 2020 Steam release tomorrow... I'm really hoping that it improves the ease of setup on Linux, not breaks it... @gamingonlinux Are you effing kidding me? I bought (for the second time) The Division 2 last week on Steam as I wanted to play it on my gaming PC, which I converted to Linux last year... I thought I'd support a company that was looking like they might improve their support for linux ... I already owned the game via Epic or maybe uplay... who knows... All these launchers need to die in a fire. I hope one day Valve reneges on their third party launcher agreement. Most games just use it as an advertising hub for DLC anyways. IMHO launchers are a tiny inconvinence at their best, and game breaking at their worst, they shouldn't exist. |
@gamingonlinux Was afraid this was going to affect #HOMM3 which I've been playing on my deck recently but I assume I'm safe since I have seen no sign of an Ubisoft launcher while running it.
