Removing their fully DRM-free games for Windows, macOS and Linux to only having downloads in the Humble Games Collection via their own launcher was a completely stupid move from the start.

I think it's pretty clear from this move, plus they're moving away from monthly launches in the Humble Games Collection (entirely separate from their bundles), that their launcher was not the hit they thought it would be (lol anyone could have told them that).

@gamingonlinux At least their mobile app made more sense because not everyone wanted to sideload the .apks they provided separately

@gamingonlinux why does everyone think they need a launcher? No one likes them

@gamingonlinux it was the first launcher I was open to use besides Steam, but it's functionality, perfomance and interface was just bad.

@gamingonlinux I miss their Android downloader/launcher/client

@gamingonlinux DRM free stuff from itch.io has worked great for me in Deck, but I've struggled to get the Humble app to work on my Steam Deck or in Nobara.

I know that it works for others, which means it's something specific to my configs, but after working IT in the office all work day, troubleshooting that is not a priority when I'm home and want to sit down and play.

I really wish the app was an addition to, instead of replacement for the Trove webpage. See GOG for "done right".

@gamingonlinux It's a pity, I wanted to play SIGNALIS, but no, thanks, I'm not interested in a DRM enabled, Windows only subscription service.
