Things I learned today:

1. Antioch (modern Antakya, Turkey) was founded in 300 BCE by Seleucus I Nicator, one of Alexander The Great's generals, who founded the Seleucid Empire in the conquered territory of the Achaemenid Empire following Alexander's death and the subsequent break up of the Macedonian Empire.

2. Antioch was named after Seleucus's father, Antiochus.

3. In Greek, Antiochus means "resolute in contention".

4. In Swedish, Antiochus is "Antiochos" which looks like it's Spanish for "opposed to the number eight in all of its myriad infernal incarnations".

5. Microsoft has a great racket going where they get companies to pay for training and certifications that essentially amount to memorizing their marketing materials, which was what I was supposed to be doing when I got distracted and accidentally learned all this stuff about Antioch.

Currently reviewing a five-line Azure CLI command that basically amounts to a "ufw status". Very cool and useful.
