In a world where people increasingly find ways to distort truth for various reasons, often “cultural” in nature, I think there’s something to be said for refusing to go along with calling an X a Y when it’s an X.

Maybe it’s a lot to ask laypeople to get this right, but surely the standard can and should be a bit higher for journalists.
