Esther is looking for a server

If nobody gets the joke, I'll be really disappointed tbh

Kniffel

@esther will there be an explanation at some point for people like me, who dont get it? :)

Schrank :shopware:

@Kniffel @esther
It is a reference to this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor I guess, but I don't know which reference the shots are. I guess there is an important star battle with Kirk? :D

@Schrank it's just a rough guess from memory of the spots that often get hit in the shows/movies without being fatal: disc section: nacelles, shuttle bay

Anna

@Schrank @esther they don’t usually make movies about the ships that were destroyed I guess

@venite @Schrank they do though. Enterprise A and D get destroyed in the movies

Larry Rubinow

@esther @venite @Schrank The original post-refit NCC-1701 was destroyed in STIII, and replaced by the 1701-A at the end of STIV. 1701-A was never destroyed on film.

random thoughts

@esther @Schrank ... and if I remember correctly, every time RIker was driving it, he crashed it.

Dave Neary

@esther @Schrank Wouldn't a shot to the nacelles be fatal?

@dneary @Schrank no, that happens quite a lot in the movies and shows. it usually impacts warp capability of course but since the core itself it deep in the main body of the ship, it's mostly not fatal
