I’ve been digging around Twitter this evening, and I’ve seen a video of a triple execution style murder, no flags on the video, up for weeks, with people praising Musk lest it be excluded from the platform (and it’s all the democrats fault, and gun control doesn’t work).

And I saw a tweet about water, flagged as sensitive.

I’ll never forget that video, I certainly didn’t need to see it, I had to find a relevant article to get some closure.

Is this the free speech that Musk wants for his BS platform? I don’t have an account; anyone, any kid, any victim, could be exposed to that video and Jesus Christ knows whatever else he’s allowing on there.

Could you imagine your content inadvertently served up next to something like that?

@fuzzychef Well they are "right", in that narrow sense "we only care about money".(*)

But, "money", "economy", "companies", etc. those are supposed to be tools. In democratic country, tools for better life of whole society.

So, we need to fix that "narrow mindedness".

One way would be to remember who those employers are and then either do not work for them or work, but as a member of union. Etc. 1/2

@fuzzychef 2/2 And reg. "we only care about money": Publicly traded companies are also (among other things) used by us (workers/citizens) to save some money for retirement. E.g. they have to make money. But:

1) are they?

2) also for us?

3) are we OK with *how* they are making that money?

4) …
