 @yogthos @mattias I agree to a lot of the things you say, but I disagree on this one. The reactors in Germany are old, in a bad state of repair and have overdue maintenance. Also, the fuel has mostly burned down now, but resupply isn't available because it had previously been sourced from Russia. If it were possible to continue running them for a few years, I wouldn't mind much, tbh. But this is a slippery slope and the nuclear lobby is still trying to overturn the phase-out |
@mattias nuclear power is the only realistic alternative to fossil fuels that we have available, there's nothing complicated about the fact that shutting down nuclear plants is pure lunacy
