Gregory's ServerI have nothing to say about this other than to describe it. It’s the view from the road on the way down to the beach near here. The sun wasn’t setting. It was only about 13:30hrs. However the sun is very low in the sky at this time of year. The clouds are coloured by the pale sun and the sea shimmers with the reflection of it. In the foreground is a grassy slope that goes down to the gate which we use to access the seashore. In the far distance is the Island of Rhum.

Am I allowed not only to admire that view, which I do, wholeheartedly, but also be a wee bit jealous of experiencing it in reality?  @ChaHarper It's gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing. With the clouds and the sea, your picture brings home we live on a water planet. And the Island of Rhum seems to be begging to part of a novel. @ChaHarper That's pretty crazy what 20 degrees of latitude does, I always forget how north Scotland is! I am at 40N and the sun is low, but definitely not like that! |
