Literally, whoever was the batch that got hired into marketing in a lot companies need to be checked if their minds are still part of this reality. Society: Read the room. @gamingonlinux I thought gpu market had crashed. Saw a deal posted somewhere today for a whole computer with 4090 for sale for like $1000. Which is $500 cheaper than what I paid for 3080ti about 6 months ago. @gamingonlinux lol. seriously though, having just hunted one down... this would have saved me a lot of pain and suffering 😂 @gamingonlinux I don't hate this, I know some places do this with tickets for big events - I'd rather have equal chance to buy at my own pace, than the first bot on the site grabbing all the stock for resale, or getting all the way through checkout before getting sold out messages.  @gamingonlinux They, like Nvidia, and trying desperately to normalize the outrageous and unprecedented prices/demand of the GPU shortage last generation. It’s like they are in denial that 2021 was a bubble. @gamingonlinux why don't they just implement the 'purchase history' and 'relationship with retailer' to qualify to buy new cards, like Rolex does.  |
