@gamingonlinux @foosel Are you playing with dual sticks only, or rest-thumb-on-right-stick-for-precision-gyro-aiming?

The latter works surprisingly well for me and I don’t even qualify as sucking at ego-shooters. It didn’t make any difference if I played them with a mouse or an old Apple Trackpad. :-)

@MacLemon @gamingonlinux Currently only dual stick. Have played around with the gyro a bit but so far it's still not intuitive and doesn't really improve my aiming that much either. I need to build muscle memory.

Doesn't help that I consider myself fairly good at aiming with mouse and WASD. Used to play shooters in the past, still occasionally do, so it becomes extra frustrating when suddenly I can hit almost nothing anymore simply due to a different input device 😅

@foosel I‘m not particularly good at twitchy shooters, even with a rodent and keyboard. I still enjoy playing at easy Settings though.

I was surprised how well my brain adapted to gyro control, while still using dual-sticks for movement.
I somehow really liked being able to roughly aim using the right stick and then seamlessly use the gyro with a rolling/twisting motion of the Deck to do the precision aiming.

Can’t assess how well this works for fast paced games. Worked for me in Portal/2. :-)
